werk5 brings the popular Swiss fair trade clothing brand Switcher back to the market.

Switcher (founded in 1981) was a pioneer in the ecological production of textiles at fair prices in Switzerland. It had to cease operations in 2016 due to financial problems.

In September 2017, werk5 took over the trademark rights for the Switcher brand portfolio under license for Switzerland and had a first smaller collection, manufactured according to the proven and strict Switcher guidelines, in terms of social and ecological compatibility. The fact that these guidelines, which are closely associated with the Switcher brand, will also be adhered to in the future was one of the brand owners' main criteria for signing the licensing agreement.
