Scanning

Interested entrepreneurs who have recognized the potential of additive manufacturing, but first want to check the potential in their own company, can resort to a scanning. In a scanning, an engineer from Unlimital visits the desired company, analyzes its product portfolio and evaluates the overall potential and/or individual parts with a lot of potential for this process. The scanning is concluded with a final report which, if there is potential, leads to a workshop at Unlimital or to consulting and design support from Unlimital.

Workshop

If requested, the departments involved, usually product development and design, are trained by Unlimital on the potential, early identification of potential, opportunities, added value and design guidelines in metallic additive manufacturing. This process in turn has as a consequence our production process and possibly again the consulting process.

Consulting and design

In order to optimize the production process, increase quality and reduce costs, Unlimital offers full product development and design support for additive manufactured parts. We will consult on customer requests regarding optimizations, optimize ourselves and redesign or redevelop. Due to our latest measurement technology, we can also offer reverse engineering. This means that we can scan existing parts, which are no longer manufactured, or of which no more drawings exist or the official re-procurement is not economical, completely three-dimensionally and thus prepare them for 3D printing. This process is always followed by our production process.

Production of metallic parts

HAM produces metallic parts on order and on the basis of a 3D model (with drawing).

The basis of this production is the selective laser melting process, i.e. 3D printing. Whether a single order for a prototype, spare parts or framework contracts for series parts, Unlimital is well designed for both possibilities.
