Toggenburger Druckerei (Wattwil)

The company, which was founded in 1929 as Buchdruckerei Wattwil AG (BUWAG) and renamed Toggenburg Medien AG in 2007, reorganized its business units at the end of 2013: The printing plant and publishing house were affiliated within the group to the printing plant of Appenzeller Medienhaus in Herisau, while the newspapers were continued in the previous company. Since April 2015, the Toggenburger Druckerei has been a full part of the newly founded Appenzeller Druckerei AG.

Sales and consulting, as well as prepress, continue to be located in Wattwil, as proximity to Toggenburg customers is of mutual advantage in these areas. In addition, smaller print items, such as funeral stationery, are produced on site using digital printing.

The offset printing area is integrated in the Appenzeller Druckerei in Herisau. This constellation means that the Toggenburg print shop is suitably positioned for every type and size of printed matter.
