Payment slips **What is the difference between a red payment slip ES and an orange payment slip with reference number ESR? You use the orange ISR when you put the name and reference number of the payer on the ISR and thus identify the payer. With the POR, the payers cannot place messages, for example, they cannot generate orders in the message field. With the ISR, in addition to the name of the payer printed on it, the payer's customer number or invoice number is also present in the code line. The orange ISR is more favorable for mail processing than the red ES.

You use the red IS where you need to know who made this deposit for you. For example, with a deposit slip to order a product or with an IS for a donation so you know the donor.

Of course, if you make very few payments and don't want to set up ISR processing, you can have your payments paid with the IS. However, the Postal Service charges significantly more for red IS processing than for orange ISR.
